I understand that every software has its strengths and weaknesses. Still, I wonder if the ability of Helicon Focus to work in a RAW in / Dgn out mode is not an important argument for choosing Helicon Focus over Zerene Stacker

Hi Luc,
For me it's not a big advantage because I still export my photos as TIFF in Helicon, it's just much faster than RAW. Also, the finished stack is better if you adjust the RAW files beforehand, so I don't need the finished stack as RAW anymore. Still, there are cases where Zerene Stacker is better, especially for very large stack series. So I can never recommend just one software, but always a combination. I will also show this in detail in my webinar #3 (unfortunately only in German ;-))
best
Valentin
